2017 Christmas Campaign and the NEW YEAR
2017 was truly a busy year for Eagle Relocations Ltd; we had lots of exciting things that went on the past year.
Summary of Last Year’s Events
To begin with, 2017 marked Eagle Relocations’ 50th Birthday. Eagle Shipping Services Ltd was founded by Mr Keshav Sharma, the company chairman, in 1967 and then later evolved into the Eagle Group, comprising of Eagle Freight and Eagle Relocations Ltd.
As a successful family firm, the anniversary marking 50 years is truly something to celebrate. It is 50 years of providing a fine service of logistics, imports, storage and much more.
We had many new additions join our team at Eagle last year. With a growing team of Eaglites, means more birthdays, more presents and more importantly a whole lot of birthday cake. We love rejoicing birthdays here, and really are like a big family. Every employee at Eagle is a valued member, and so we use the opportunity of their birthday to celebrate them.
Along with celebrating Eagle’s 50th, we also celebrated some other big birthdays including Jabulani’s 21st. Jabulani is the Operational Manager’s assistant, and has begun to take on additional responsibility at Eagle. Being 21 comes with more responsibility!
Last year, we completed a total of 1,508 jobs, that’s an average of 4 per day – that kept our crew busy! Our expert team of packers, drivers and movers, really are commendable. No job is too big for them, they soldier through and get the job done to the high standards that Eagle require. This explains why we never outsource our work, and only have full-time crew members as part of our team; they are well aware of the quality of service we want them to deliver to the clients.
Another year and another approval for Eagle Relocations Ltd. Following the BAR audit in September, we can confirm we successfully remain members of the British Association of Removers and are QSS (Quality Service Standards Ltd) approved. Please click here to see our certification.
Christmas 2017 was a busy time here for us Eagle Relocations. We had a lot going on; from booking moves to launching our Christmas Advent Calendar campaign, and supporting Buzzmove with their Crisis charity campaign. All in all, it has been a successful year for Eagle Relocations Ltd and we ended the year on a high note.
Eagle Supported Various Charities
Eagle’s festive preparations began well before December even started. We initiated the festive period with helping towards an amazing charity, and ended it the same way. Here at Eagle, we believe that asides from all the mince pies, chocolates and presents, Christmas is mainly about a time of remembering those who are less fortunate than us.
So that’s exactly what we did in November. Onkar our Managing Director initiated the idea that, we all bring in a shoebox filled with lots of presents for young children for the Operation Christmas Child Appeal by a very reputable organisation, Samaritan’s Purse. All employees at Eagle were very excited and enthusiastic, and so by the date of the deadline we had a pile of shoe boxes accumulated on the Chairman’s desk, Mr K N Sharma.
The month went on, and we were then notified of Buzzmove’s wonderful plans of supporting Crisis. We couldn’t help but get involved when we knew how much our small donations could mean for a homeless person this Christmas. Our part in supporting these charities doesn’t stop here. We aim to support many other organisations and have already set plans for some throughout 2018.
Eagle’s Christmas Advent Calendar
Amidst supporting charities, we had our very own 2017 Christmas Advent Calendar campaign going on. We all know how expensive and stressful moving your items can be, from buying your new home to transferring your belonging there – it all adds up. Eagle thought to help by giving people who were moving a range of tips and exclusive offers starting on the first of December all the way through to Christmas Day. Not only did this help make their move less stressful, it also means they got to move potentially at a discounted price.
This was a successful campaign, as many customers were smart enough to take advantage which meant we had a board full off jobs for the entire month; slots rapidly filled up for December and January too.
Christmas Rewards for Eagle Employees
With so much going on at work, our very kind MD decided it was time we organised our Christmas Doo. We all went out into Watford Town to Tarboush for some Lebanese food, shisha and obviously some beverages! The food and the atmosphere were truly amazing, and we would like to thank all the lovely people at Tarboush for making our Christmas Party one to remember.
It is safe to say, it has been a busy year for Eagle. We are grateful for everyone who helps us do our job and make every move with us a success story. So, thank you to the people who initiate the move, the sales team, people who organise the move, the move coordinators and our front liners, the crew.
